Katerina Eng is a Californian through and through. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay area, and began her ballet training at the Contra Costa Ballet School* under the direction of Richard Cammack and Zola Dishong.  Katerina received additional training from The Australian Ballet School, The School of American Ballet*, San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, The Royal Danish Ballet, and Lines Ballet*. In 2009 she was invited to attend the San Francisco Ballet School*. From 2012–2014 she danced with The American Ballet Theatre Studio Company*. While dancing there, she toured to London for an exchange program with the Royal Ballet School. She currently is a fourth year dancer working towards receiving a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School*. At Juilliard, she is a group leader for the Gluck Community Service Fellowship program where she leads an interdisciplinary group of Juilliard students to create and perform interactive programs for hospitals, pediatric centers, and retirement homes around NYC. She hopes to continue her career in dance while also keeping outreach as an integral part of her life. Other interests of hers include choreographing, creating and producing dance for film, and writing. Katerina Eng is grateful recipient of the Stephen E. Somers Scholarship and the Martha Hill Scholarship.
